- 37 yr. old happily married female. A fulltime working (nurse anesthetist) mom of a 4 yr. old drama queen and step-mom of a beautiful 16 yr. old. And, I've just been diagnosed with thyroid cancer, after having thought that my symptoms of fatigue and pressure in my throat were just in my head. It's my goal to help others, particularly women who maybe either ignore or attribute their symptoms to something else, or worse yet, suffer a misdiagnosis from healthcare professionals who don't take their health complaints seriously.
